Assessment
Know where they are standing before you start walking.
The assessment places a child on the Life Readiness Scale so the first weeks of missions are aimed properly rather than guessed at. It works at any age, and the result feeds straight into the mission engine as a starting baseline.
What we will and will not do with it
A starting point, not a verdict
The result sets the difficulty of the first missions and nothing else. It is not a diagnosis, not an IQ test, and not something a child passes or fails.
Never a ranking
There is no percentile, no cohort comparison and no leaderboard. A child is only ever measured against where they were.
It expires on purpose
A re-assessment every six months is part of the subscription, because a result from a year ago describes a child who no longer exists.
Answers stay yours
Responses live in your account, come out in your data export, and are deleted with the rest of the record when you ask for that.
How the assessment slots in
The engine that runs an assessment is instrument agnostic: questions, scales and scoring rules load as data rather than being written into the code. That means a new instrument, or a new language, goes live without waiting on a release.
The instrument itself is being authored with a partner on a values rooted foundation, designed to work at any age and to feed straight into the mission engine as a starting baseline.
You can begin today without it. Add a child, tell us their age, and the engine aims the first weeks from their age band and sharpens as soon as you record anything.
