Common questions

  • About five minutes a week from you. You read the three missions, and when you see something happen you record it with four sliders. The child's part happens in ordinary life rather than in an app, so it does not add screen time.

  • Five to seventeen for the parent guided programme, in four age bands, and eighteen and over in a self directed mode. The framework is the same at every age; what changes is how much of the work the child is expected to carry.

  • No. Children never hold their own login. There is a simplified child view, and it runs inside your session on your device. We do not collect a child's email address and we never contact a child directly.

  • A first name or nickname, a year of birth rather than a full date, their mission activity, and the observations you record. That is the minimum needed to run the programme and choose the right missions. We never profile, track or advertise to a child.

  • Yes, and you do both yourself. In Settings you can download everything we hold as a single file, and you can request deletion of one child or the whole account. Deletion completes within thirty days and the child is archived immediately so we stop using the record straight away.

  • No. The assessment aims the first weeks more precisely, but you can add a child and start missions straight away. The engine uses their age band to begin with and adjusts as soon as you record anything.

  • Nothing happens. There is no streak to break and no score penalty for a quiet week. Character forms over months, and a product that punished you for a busy fortnight would be lying about how that works.

  • Only from observations you record. Each one is scored on frequency, independence, quality and consistency, weighted by how difficult the mission was, and rolled up through capabilities and pillars into a single number between 0 and 100.

  • Never. There is no percentile, no cohort ranking and no leaderboard anywhere in the product. Your child is only ever measured against where they were.

  • From Settings, without writing to anyone. The fourteen day trial needs no card and ends on its own rather than rolling into a charge, so if you forget about us nothing is taken.

Two weeks free is usually a faster answer than reading about it.
