LifeCraft

For colleges

Graduates who can write code. And who can handle a Monday.

LifeCraft runs in a self directed mode for students over eighteen. The framework is identical to the one used with children; what changes is that the student runs it themselves and reflects in place of a parent observing.

What changes for an adult learner

Self Mode is the same engine with a different observer. The pillars, the capabilities and the scale do not change, which is why a student's score can be read against the same standards as anyone else's.

  • The student observes themselves

Over eighteen there is no guardian in the loop. The student runs their own missions and records their own reflection, and the scoring weights that reflection accordingly.

  • The account is theirs

An adult learner holds their own account and their own consent. The college does not sit between a student and their record.

  • Aimed at the gap employers name

Ownership, judgment, communication and follow through are exactly what graduate employers say is missing, and they are what this measures.

  • A credential that verifies

The certification ladder gives a student something with a public verification page, rather than a line on a CV nobody can check.

Joining the first cohort

Self Mode runs through the whole system already. One record type serves both a child with a guardian and an adult running their own programme, so a college cohort switches on rather than waiting on a rebuild.

We are working with a small number of colleges now to shape the institution view around how a department actually reports. Founding places are open.
