Our method
Character is measurable when you measure the right thing.
Six deliberate decisions turn something families call unmeasurable into a number you can trust. Here is the thinking behind each one.
Six decisions that shape everything else
Behaviour, not personality
We measure what a child did, in a real situation, on a real day. Behaviour is something you can watch happen, which is exactly what makes it trustworthy to score.
A parent observing, not a child self reporting
The person who watched it happen is the one who records it. That is what keeps every rating grounded in something real.
Difficulty carried by the mission
Each mission carries its own difficulty and the server applies it, so the same achievement is worth the same in every family. You just record what you saw.
Explainable every time
The same inputs always produce the same score, and each week is reproducible. Ask why a number is what it is and there is a precise answer.
One child, their own path
Every view shows a child against their own history, which keeps the conversation at home about their progress rather than anyone else's.
Paced to how character forms
Three missions a week, repeated over months. That rhythm is what makes the growth stick, and it fits around a family that already has a full week.
Four promises we hold to
These are the commitments that shape what LifeCraft feels like to live with, written in public so you can hold us to them.
A quiet week costs nothing
Progress is measured over months, so a busy fortnight leaves your record exactly where it was. Pick it up whenever you are ready.
Your child is never ranked
Every view is about one child's own progress. That keeps the product a source of encouragement in your house rather than pressure.
Reminders that respect you
We tell you what is waiting this week, in the tone one adult uses with another, and then we leave you alone.
A person judges, not a model
You decide what you saw. The engine does the arithmetic. That is why the score is something you can stand behind.
Built to improve with evidence
The framework turns how character development is described into something a parent can actually observe on a Tuesday morning. That translation is the hard part, and it is what makes the whole thing measurable.
Pillar weights and band boundaries are versioned in the database, so the framework can sharpen as real cohort data arrives while every score already issued still means exactly what it meant on the day it was computed.
